About

I got interested in folk music in my teens during the 1960s and first started learning to play guitar in 1968. My early influences, nay, heroes, were Ralph McTell and Tom Paxton. I wrote my first song in 1971, and then one or two more over the years, but it wasn't until I retired in 2009 that I started writing more often.

My first CD "Kangaroo Hill" was recorded and engineered by my brother Fabian in about 2011, but this was only reproduced in very small numbers. I plan to re-record and re-release this album soon. Some of the songs from this album are here on this website for you to listen to. KangarooHill KangarooHillVerso

My second CD "Grey Nomads" I made in 2016, again recorded and engineered by my brother Fabian. The tracks on this album are all here for you to listen to: see the track list on the sleeve below. GreyNomads GreyNomadsVerso

Since then I have written quite a few more songs that I plan to record on a new album soon. Some of these are here, albeit it in a fairly raw state: Plastic, As I Stepped Out, Kolding, The Wrong Skin.
